Welcome to Winter 2022-2023!
December 21st marks the transition from fall to winter season on the calendar and things related to winter are already in full swing at Fernie Alpine Resort! Thanks to an excellent early season snowfall, all the lifts are running and the majority of the ski terrain in the 5 alpine bowls are now open. With the most recent snowfall there were plenty of fresh track to be found and the White Pass area was the preferred riding area.
As we move into Christmas Holiday week, visitors to Fernie will want to take advantage of all the great events and activities happening up at the ski resort and in town. Be sure to check out the Tourism Fernie Events Page to stay up to date.
